Dekontamination Equipment
The FOam BAsed DeCON 40-T module was developed for the fast and effective decontamination of A radioactive, B biological and C chemical contamination. The unit works with the highly effective FOAM DECONTAMINATION METHOD in combination with our special DECON additives and is suitable to fulfill the tasks according to FwDV and VFDB guidelines.
It is a compact, handy and TRAGARABLE unit in a dissipative plastic box with the dimensions 600 x 400 x 320 mm (LxWxD). It can be loaded on e.g. hazardous goods vehicles (GW-G) and GW logistics.
It can be operated with a commercial pressure reducer 300/200 bar to 12 bar and fire department breathing air bottles (4 l/200 bar or 6 l/300 bar) or with an electric compressor.
Structure
This FOAM DECONTAMINATION METHOD offers decisive advantages:
- FASTEST DECONTAINMENT: only the filling of the 20 l canister with water and the coordinated decon additives is required. You will find detailed instructions on this in our operating manual.
- EASY TO USE - ONE MAN OPERATION: due to clear instructions for the different contaminations
- LOWEST QUANTITY of water and decon additives - ALSO ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
- minimal waste disposal (less than 10 % of the usual water quantities)
- purely PNEUMATIC system: NO power supply required
- NO aerosol formation when applying the foam

Fobacon 40-T in stainless steel box, equipped with plastic quick coupling for connecting the suction hose, quick coupling for connecting the compressed air line, foam outlet with ball valve and D-Storz fixed coupling for connecting the pressure hose.
- Suction hose 1.5 m with suction strainer and plastic quick coupling
- Pressure hose 5 m, on both sides with D-Storz fixed coupling
- Decon blasting tube with pistol grip and ball shut-off device with D-Storz coupling (for surface/equipment decontamination, not to be used for persons!)
- Dosing measuring cup 1.000 ml
- 20 l plastic canister with screw cap for mixing the decon chemicals
- Plastic transport and storage box (600x400x320 mm) to hold the module including accessories
